Description

This vibrant Tropical Smoothie Bowl is a refreshing and healthy breakfast or snack option, packed with the natural sweetness of orange, strawberries, mango, and an array of tropical fruits. It blends a creamy, ice cream-like consistency with a variety of fresh toppings including berries, pineapple, kiwi, coconut flakes, and crunchy granola for texture and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • ¼ cup water, if needed

Toppings

  • Blueberries (to taste)
  • Raspberries (to taste)
  • Pineapple pieces (to taste)
  • Raw coconut flakes (to taste)
  • Strawberries, sliced (to taste)
  • Kiwi, sliced (to taste)
  • Granola (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Smoothie – Place the peeled orange, frozen strawberries, and frozen mango into a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and uniform, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well combined. If the smoothie is too thick to blend properly, add the ¼ cup of water gradually until the texture resembles a thick, soft-serve ice cream.
  2. Transfer and Top – Pour the blended smoothie into a bowl. Then, generously add your chosen toppings such as blueberries, raspberries, pineapple chunks, raw coconut flakes, sliced strawberries, kiwi, and granola to add freshness, texture, and extra nutritional value.

Notes

  • For an even thicker texture, reduce the amount of water or omit it altogether if your frozen fruits are sufficiently soft.
  • You can customize the toppings according to seasonality or personal preference.
  • Use a high-powered blender for the smoothest consistency.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the best texture and freshness.
