Instructions
- Prepare crockpot: Spray the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray to prevent sticking and make clean-up easier.
- First sauce layer: Spread a layer of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of the crockpot as the base for the dish.
- Add ravioli layer: Place a layer of frozen ravioli over the marinara sauce, distributing them evenly.
- Ricotta layer: Spread ricotta cheese over the ravioli, covering them as much as possible for creamy texture.
- Add shredded cheeses: Sprinkle a mixture of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the ricotta layer for a cheesy richness.
- Repeat layers: Continue layering sauce, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of cheese.
- Season: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and freshly ground pepper on the top layer for added flavor.
