Description

This Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles recipe offers tender, flavorful beef simmered slowly with onion soup mix and gravy, served over perfectly cooked egg noodles. Ideal for a comforting and easy meal, it’s simple to prepare and perfect for busy days when you want a hearty dish with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Tips

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water

Noodles & Garnish

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Tips: In a slow cooker, combine the stew meat, Lipton onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, beef broth, and water. Stir the ingredients well to mix everything evenly and ensure the flavors are well combined.
  2. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency.
  3. Cook the Noodles: Approximately 20 minutes before serving, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles and set them aside.
  4. Combine and Serve: Season the beef tips with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the tender beef tips over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired for an extra burst of freshness and color.

Notes

  • For a thicker gravy, you can stir in a slurry of cornstarch and water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Use fresh parsley as a garnish to enhance the flavor and presentation.
  • This recipe can be doubled easily for larger groups.
  • Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute the egg noodles with gluten-free pasta and ensure the soup and gravy mixes are gluten-free.
