Ingredients
Scale
Big Mac Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons finely minced white onion (or dried minced onion)
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Burger Bowl
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Chopped romaine lettuce
- Freshly grated cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- Sliced cherry tomatoes
- Sliced dill pickles
- Cooked potato wedges or French fries
- Sliced red onion (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Big Mac Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle relish, minced white onion, yellow mustard, paprika, and garlic powder until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate to let the flavors meld while preparing the burger bowls.
- Cook Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced white onion and lean ground beef. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until beef is fully browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease to avoid soggy bowls.
- Season Beef: Reduce heat to low. Season the cooked beef and onions with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir thoroughly and cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
- Assemble Bowls: Evenly distribute the chopped romaine lettuce among 4 bowls. Top with the seasoned ground beef mixture, then add freshly grated cheddar cheese, sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced dill pickles, and cooked potato wedges or French fries as desired. Add sliced red onion if using.
- Serve: Drizzle each bowl generously with the prepared Big Mac sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy this flavorful, bun-free cheeseburger experience.
Notes
- You can substitute dried minced onion if fresh onion is not available for the sauce.
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option and less grease.
- Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences. Avocado or jalapeños can add an extra twist.
- If you want to make this dish keto-friendly, omit the potato wedges or fries.
- Leftover Big Mac sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
